The QbD programme is run by the QbD team, part of the School of Pharmacy within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. Each module is led by an academic member of the staff who is there to support and guide the student through the module.

This programme has been specifically designed with the needs of the pharmaceutical and allied industries in mind and has been created through a unique collaboration between industry and academia. A wide range of experienced industrial and regulatory experts have been engaged in preparing and delivering the pre-recorded lectures. They represent manufacturing and development companies, excipient suppliers, process equipment suppliers, data analysis software suppliers, consultancies and regulators.

These organisations include: Pfizer, AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Evonik, FMC Biopolymer, Lyosolutions Ltd, GEA Pharma Systems, CAMO Software AS, JMP Division of SMS, MKS Umetrics AB, Colorcon, Perceptive Engineering, PMcG Consulting, Lundsberg Consulting, Affinis LbD, Bruce Davis Global Consultancy, BAS and more recently the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, MHRA.

The course also benefits from the involvement of a steering group drawn from our panel of experts who help to shape the future development of the programme.
